Church-Wide

Prayer & Fasting

February 11-13, 2026

guide to prayer & Fasting

Join us for a church-wide time of prayer and fasting as we seek God’s heart, direction, and leading together in preparation for Commitment Sunday (February 15) for our building campaign.

Types of Fasts.

A fast where you drink only water for a set period of time, focusing fully on prayer and seeking God.

❋ WATER ONLY

A fast where you consume only liquids (like water, juices, broths, or smoothies) while dedicating intentional time to prayer.

❋ LIQUIDS ONLY

❋ DANIEL FAST

A partial fast inspired by Daniel, focusing on simple foods like fruits, vegetables, and grains as you seek God through prayer.

❋ SPECIFIC MEALS OR TYPES OF FOODS

A flexible fast where you give up certain meals or specific foods (like sweets, caffeine, or meat) and use that time to pray and draw closer to God.

Fasting is more about the posture of your heart than the amount of food you’re not consuming.

Use wisdom, seek professional or medical advice if necessary, and ask the Holy Spirit what’s best for you.

Our simple prayer is:

Lord, what do you want to do through me?

Let’s seek Jesus together.

Prayer directives are focused prayer points that guide our church in unified prayer as we seek God’s direction and wisdom.

Pray that families would seek the Lord together.

Pray that there would be joy in the sacrifice!

Pray for radical generosity.

Pray for the lost in our city to find their way home.

As we approach Commitment Sunday on 2/15, we invite you to intentionally seek Jesus through fasting and prepare your heart for what He wants to do through you.
