WE ARE THE

NEXT GENERATION!

TFH YOUTH exists to help high school students discover life in JESUS: the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).

We are committed to creating a safe space for them to get to know God intimately and become lifelong disciples.

We do this by pursuing His presence, pursuing His Word, and pursuing deep and meaningful relationships with peers & leaders.

THE GATHERINGS

Because we believe that consistency creates stability, we are committed to meeting every Wednesday night (7-9PM), all year round. Email michelle@tfhsf.org for the address.

WHAT DO WE DO? Eat food, worship, share testimonies, hear God’s Word, break out into groups, pray, and have fun. There’s no greater place to be on a Wednesday night!

WE PURSUE GOD’S PRESENCE

We believe that ONE encounter with JESUS has the power to change everything.

We are committed to creating an honorable, faith filled environment where the Holy Spirit longs to come and move in power.

We do this by welcoming Him in to our gatherings through prayer and worship, believing that with God, ALL things are possible! (Matt 19:26)

WE PURSUE GOD’S WORD

Romans 12:2 teaches us that we can be transformed by changing the way we think. We live in a post-christian culture that rejects the Truth and authority of God’s Word and tries to conform us to its way of thinking.

We are committed to creating safe, judgment free spaces for the youth to hear God’s Word and learn to think according to the Truth.

We do this by teaching God’s Word and then breaking out into groups for them to engage in discussions that will help them critically think and ask questions about their faith and the Truth that was presented.

WE PURSUE DEEP RELATIONSHIPS

One of our most basic needs as a human being is to BELONG. TFH Youth operates under this conviction: you belong before you believe what we believe or behave how we behave.

We are committed to creating a safe place for ALL: to belong and enjoy healthy community.

We do this by fostering a weekly environment where deep and meaningful relationships can be formed between both peers and leaders.

YOUTH LEADERS

We believe that leadership is influence. Jesus trained up His disciples by His own influence; living life with them and leading by example. All of our leaders are background checked and are personally supported and living life with our Generations Pastors, Drew and Michelle Baker. It is a big responsibility to influence and speak into the lives of young people, so we take it very seriously.

GENERATIONS PASTORS

Drew and Michelle moved from Vacaville, along with Pastors Tim and Robyn, because they felt God calling them to be a part of TFH SF. Prior to moving, they both served under Tim and Robyn in the youth ministry they led at the time, where God revealed their heart for people and a passion for the local church. Since then, they have led our Creative, Connect, and Prayer Team with the heart to give their life to build the Kingdom of God in SF. As the high school and college aged demographic in our church has grown, they were asked by Pastors Tim and Robyn to pray about stepping into pastoral oversight of these age groups. As they prayed, it was clear that God was calling them to help raise up the next generation. They believe the harvest is plentiful and they want to give their lives to labor for it. They were officially licensed on October 30, 2022 as our Generations Pastors, focusing on students in high school and those of college age.
